For the adventurous amongst us, this book dares you to get off the beaten track andgo in search of the most remarkable natural environments on the planet. Chapters capturing off-grid coastal views, rugged mountain landscapes, majestic forests and expansive wildernesses are all featured, stirring within you a sense of adventure. From the Pacific Northwest to Southeast Asia, New Zealand to Scandinavia, these are the places where amazing photos are taken, now you need to experience them.

My Review: This is a spectacular compilation of nature photographs taken by a group of well-known photographers. It's the book to get lost in, as the title suggests, during the pandemic when traveling was postponed for so many of us. The photographs are crisp and clear, perfect to satisfy the curiosity of anyone looking for ideas for their next great adventure. Interesting facts and information accompany every page. One thing I found intriguing while flipping through the pages were the photography tips and tricks including how to take photos of wildlife, apps to aid your position and timing, technical tips, and much more. The "behind the lens" sections are a true inspiration even for amateur photographers looking for the perfect shot.
